Design Collective's Chicago Studio Moves to Large Suite in Willis Tower

In November 2019, Design Collective opened a second studio in Chicago to best serve our clients and to strengthen our national reach. Since then, our Midwest team has doubled in size to produce exceptional work across the country as our client base continues to grow. To accommodate this growth and support new projects over the past two years, Design Collective’s Chicago Studio has relocated to the corner suite of the Willis Tower’s (Formerly Sears Tower) 44th floor, doubling our initial footprint.

Our story at 233 South Wacker Drive started last spring when our studio relocated to the Willis Tower for its central city location, urban amenities, and proximity to clients. The unique location grants inspiring daily views of the City skyline, Millenium Park, Grant Park and Lake Michigan. The 44th floorplate has additionally equipped our designers with more collaboration space for real-time coordination with our diverse architecture, engineering and construction neighbors and industry peers.

With our growing team, the Chicago studio has focused its expertise on residential, institutional and urban planning to bring global perspective to regional design problems. The seamless workflow between experts across our offices in urban design, architecture, landscape, interiors and graphics can be attributed to Design Collective’s unique ONEstudio approach. This crucial philosophy rooted in fostering connectivity has contributed to Chicago’s design leadership and involvement on projects such as:
