IIDA Mid-Atlantic Honors Two Design Collective Projects

The International Interior Design Association (IIDA) Mid-Atlantic chapter honored two Design Collective projects with design awards. The Clubhouse at Domus won the Gold Award in the residential category and Catholic Relief Services’ World Headquarters won a Special Merit award in the sustainable design category.

The Clubhouse at Domus features resident amenities that reflect the ambiance of a boutique hotel for those living in the new luxury apartment building in Philadelphia, Pa. These dynamic public spaces include a resort-style, heated pool with outdoor living room, private screening room with stadium seating and surround sound, WiFi Internet café with complimentary coffee and tea bar, lounge area with multimedia center, billiards, business center with conference rooms, demonstration kitchen and a state-of-the-art fitness facility.

Catholic Relief Services’ World Headquarters, located in Baltimore, Md., is designed for LEED Silver Certification. The 125,000 SF office accommodates a new atrium, meeting rooms, quiet rooms, training rooms, an exhibit gallery, central file room, research library, chapel, health facility and a roof-top terrace.
