Design Collective is currently working on several renovation projects designed to enhance the visitor experience at the National Aquarium in Baltimore and reinforce their mission for education, conservation and sustainability. Renovations to the Pier 3: Level G - café seating and servery and Knott Harbor View Room on Level 4, will seamlessly integrate new finishes and food service offerings, expand rental capacities and accommodate enhanced sustainable practices including composting and recycling. The café and servery spaces will be updated with new energy efficient mechanical, lighting and audiovisual systems. Improvements are also being made to the Pier 4 Plaza to improve landscape, hardscape and outdoor seating areas. The goal is to create an iconic entry point for visitors approaching the aquarium from the east.
