Compton Community College is slated to construct their first on-campus student housing facility in an effort to further support a growing population of non-regional students, those with families and/or in need, in an area where housing shortages are common. The 250 bed project features 3 distinct living typologies – traditional units with shared bathrooms, semi-suite units with private baths, and suites that are geared toward families or older students and feature private baths and kitchens. The project incorporates modular construction as a means of expediting the process, features a private courtyard for student use and has 3 levels of amenity spaces ranging from study and gaming areas, to common kitchens and kid play areas.
