GKV, a 30-year old Baltimore advertising, branding and public relations firm, engaged Design Collective for the third time in as many years to design their new corporate offices.
Wanting to shift their workplace to reflect their evolving work style and hoping for a new image were two of the criteria that informed the process and help establish the rules by which the new space was designed. Although much attention was paid to "first impressions" and client areas, equal consideration was given to the back of house spaces, providing for private work areas, teaming spaces and direct access to natural light and amazing views of the City and beyond. The 16,000 SF facility was designed to meet the intent of Baltimore City's green building initiative by taking advantage of the building's pending LEED certification and Design Collective's standard sustainability design process.
