Location Towson, Maryland
Roadnet Technologies, an industry leader in worldwide fleet management solutions, selected Design Collective for the collaborative design of their new corporate headquarters.
The partnership came at a time when Roadnet Technologies was beginning to roll out an exciting new brand initiative, affording a unique opportunity to create a workplace driven by their new vision. The narrative description of their "brand personality", terms such as Energetic, Revitalized and Collaborative, was brought to life throughout the workspace, paying particular attention to the office entry sequence. The design team strived to create the perception of motion with simple materials and patterns while emphasizing the new brand with a contrast of color and light.
Back of house workspaces were also transformed with an open plan layout allowing direct access to natural light, touchdown spaces throughout encouraging collaborative teaming and multi-function spaces keeping in mind growth and flexibility. The 27,000 SF headquarters located in Towson, Maryland also houses Roadnet University, a client-focused national software training facility for Roadnet Technology customers.
