Location Salisbury, MD

Design Collective and Becker Morgan Group (BMG) have been engaged by the Town of Salisbury, through our IDIQ contract, to design a new Town Square that will transform a portion of a current parking lot into a public space for events and activities. The conceptual design phase for this ½-acre square is complete, with construction start in the Fall of 2022. Preliminary cost estimates for the park range from $2.7 to $3M. The design considers opportunities for phased implementation and donors/sponsors for park elements. The design phase included input from and coordination with City of Salisbury Departments of Infrastructure and Development and Field Operations Parks and Maintenance.

The Design Development and Construction Documents phases include design refinement, engineering, geotechnical analysis and stormwater management design, and infrastructure, street, and utility design. Design Collective is the lead consultant, providing design, design development, construction documents, bidding services, and construction administration services.
